Yes mine sistren, I too felt the absence of said Whimpie, said Melanie (aka Mrs. Whimpie), and all their lil hamburgers. But it didnt dull the glow of seeing that there dankish Figlet of churlish ...stuff, and Mr Figlet (darn, the boy needs a name already...perhaps Mr Newton to compliment said Fig?) and their lil biscuits of blissful beyonders. It was a wonderful time and I broke rules and ate pie a'plenty, but I still felt Dad smiling at the whole crew. Riley and Emily and Taylor were never without smiles and what makes us happier than that? Im smiling just thinking about it. Fig, you and Mom put on a fabulous meal, and Riley's squirrel was quite tasty. I love variety lil Dude!

My favorite bit was uncle bill trying to figure out what the heck he was supposed to do with the one piece of pie speech and why it mattered. Better still was the look on Dean and Todd's face trying to figure out what the heck we were talking about. it was right said, Fred.

I feel so left out, though its good to be missed. We also had one piece of pie, but without the humor. More on that later...or not. Fortunately Melanie will be doing our "real" TG meal here at home soon.
